This event was not a public concert, but instead a Come and Play Open Rehearsal, organised as part of the Mole Valley Arts Alive Festival, to which orchestral players were invited to bring their instrument and find out what it’s like to play with the Surrey Philharmonic Orchestra.
Conductor Nicholas Smith took those present through works from our programme for the first concert of the season.
